5 Minute-EASY Guacamole Recipe! In Spanish, that’s 5 Minuto-Guacamole receta facile! Besides, this will make you ridiculously popular wherever you picnic next!

STEP 1. 

Choose a fresh and ripe avocado. The flesh should give a little when you press in with your thumb. Make a tight fist. The avocado should feel about as firm as the skin between your thumb and first finger.

Mix all the ingredients together. Then cover tightly with the plastic wrap touching the guacamole receta facile. Allow to rest in the fridge for an hour if you can resist gobbling it all up.

If you believe that guacamole tastes like soap, then you are probably sensitive to the cilantro in the Pico.

To address this, do not use Pico, instead use 1/2 cup of chopped tomato and 1/2 chopped large onion.

You can tell if your avocado is ripe when you squeeze it, the flesh should give slightly with the pressure of your thumb. 

How Do I Cut up an Avocado? 

To Cut up an Avocado:

  1. Cut the Avocado in half from the top down (from the stem).
  2. Remove the seed.
  3. Cut the flesh into a hash pattern
  4. Scoop out the flesh using a spoon from each half.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 package of prepared fresh Pico de Gallo available in the fruits and veggie section
  • ¾ tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lime wedges for squeezing

Instructions

  • Remove the avocado skin and seed, cut into 1 inch cubes and place in a bowl. Add the Pico de gallo and garlic salt. Stir gently.
  • Add the pico de gallo, coriander, garlic salt and lemon juice and mix well.  Smash up the avocados so that your sauce is as smooth or chunky as you like it!
  • Add salt and pepper to taste. (You really have to taste it.  If it doesn't taste just right, you need to add salt).
  • Serve with tortilla chips, garnish with lime slices and chopped cilantro leaves.
