- 1.25 lbs beef flank or sirloin steak – cut across the grain thin sliced
- 1 medium onion
- 4 oz fresh mushrooms – sliced
- 1 ½ cup water
- 3 Cups egg noodles
- 8 oz. velveeta
- 1 can peas or 1 Cup of frozen peas
- 1 Can cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
In a large skillet – brown the steak and onions on medium high x 4 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Stir in water and bring to a boil. Add the noodles and bring to a boil again. Reduce to simmer and cook x 7 minutes until the noodles are done.
Add the other ingredients, simmer until velveeta is melted. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
