What is Cheeseburger Dip?

Cheeseburger dip is a cheese dip for tortilla chips that uses cheese, burger and other great seasonings for a slightly spicey, meaty tasty version of this delectable cheese dip!

How to Make Bacon Cheeseburger Dip?

So easy! Cut up your cheese, add the canned items, brown the ground beef in a frying pan with the spices and pour it all together into the crockpot. Set on low. Come back in a couple of ours to a dream dip!

How to Make Cheeseburger Dip in the Crock Pot

To make this dip in the crockpot, simply put everything into the crockpot (brown the ground beef separately in a frying pan first) and set it on low. In about 2-3 hours you’ll have a cheesy wonder!

How to Make Cheeseburger Dip in the Oven

To make this dish in the oven, fry up the ground beef in a skillet and then put everything into a baking dish together. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 200 for 40 minutes. Stir frequently.

How to Make Cheeseburger Dip on the Stovetop

Just mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium low heat until melted! You’ll need to cook the ground beef separately and add it. Delicious!

Can You Freeze Cheeseburger Dip?

You sure can freeze cheeseburger dip! Put the cheeseburger dip into a freezer safe container, remove as much air as possible and then freeze for up to 3 months.

How Can I Change Up Cheeseburger Dip?

Cheeseburger Dip is fun to change up! Add some of the following:

  • 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbs of Ketchup and mustard
  • BACON! Add it! As much as you want!
  • Top with diced tomatoes
  • Instead of cream cheese, add 1 Cup Sour Cream for slightly different taste.
  • Don’t have minced garlic? Use 1 Tbs garlic powder.
  • Add 1 Tbs Onion powder.
  • Try different shredded cheese on top! Cheddar Cheese, Bacon Cheddar, swiss, mozzarella etc.
  • Instead of the Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning, try a packet of Taco Seasoning instead! Delicious!

Can I Make Cheeseburger Dip with Velveeta?

Sure! That’s what I did in this recipe! There are other ways too though! Read on for more information!

Can I Make Cheeseburger Dip with Cheeze Whiz?

Absolutely, but it will take 4 standard size jars. Your best bang for your dollar will be using velveeta type cheese.

Can I Make Cheeseburger Dip with Cream Cheese?

Yep! That’s what I did here! It makes the dip more creamy and melty! You’ll LOVE it!

How Long is Cheeseburger Dip Good For?

This dip will last about 5 days in the fridge. Don’t let it sit out for more than 2 hours.

TIP and TRICKS for Cheeseburger Dip

  • Change up the flavors slightly by adding some worcestershire, ketchup and mustard, diced tomatoes or a different cheese on top!
  • It’s fine to substitute garlic powder for the minced garlic - 1 tbs of either.
  • Substitute taco seasoning for the hidden valley ranch for a slightly different flavor.
  • Sausage is good instead of hamburger!
  • Cheese whiz will work instead of velveeta, BUT it’s more expensive for the same quantity.
  • It’s fine to halve this recipe for a smaller crowd.
  • This dip does freeze ok.
  • It saves in the fridge for about 5-7 days.
