Here’s What You’ll Need

  • White and Dark Chocolate
  • Peppermint Extract
  • Candy canes or peppermint disks (crushed)

Here’s How You Do It

  1. Melt the chocolates and add the peppermint extract and pour onto a sheet pan.
  2. Sprinkle with candy canes

Tips and Tricks for Chocolate Peppermint Bark

  • If you prefer to use a double boiler to melt the chocolate, that is fine, however be sure not to splash water into the chocolate or it will seize.
  • No double boiler or microwave? No worries, here’s how you can make your own double boiler using what you have at home.
  • Since this recipe gets most of its flavor from the chocolates, you are going to want to use the best chocolates possible. I recommend the Ghiradelli chocolates if you can find them.
  • It’s fine to use either crushed candy canes or peppermint candies (the round disk kind). Either work just fine.

A Verse To Share

Ever had someone do you wrong? Yep me too. I think the trick is to find a way to forgive, even if the person doesn’t want or ask for forgiveness. Believe me, the other person probably doesn’t know or care about your feelings, if they did, they wouldn’t have done what they did. Therefore, forgiveness if for your peace of mind.

Ephesians 4:32

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
