Frying Pan on the Stovetop,

  1. Pour vegetable oil to a depth of 1/4 inch in your frying pan.

Tips & Tricks for How to Cook Crispy Frozen Sweet Potato Fries

  • Cook your fries in small amounts, this allows the heat (in whatever form) to circulate around and completely cook the fries so that they turn out crispy!
  • If you crowd the fries, they will only be able to steam each other and then they will be soggy!
  • Make sure that if you are cooking your fries in the oven that you coat them well with oil and seasoning, this is what gives them a crispy crunch and good flavor.
  • If you like EXTRA crispy fries, allow them to bake just a few minutes longer.
  • Sweet potato fries are often cut into slimmer fries due to the density of the sweet potato, you’ll have to be careful and watch them closely as they come to the end of their cooking time.

PRO TIP:  Remember that sweet potato fries are a little SWEETER than regular fries and this means that they work well with salty tastes, sweet dips and may NOT be what you like best with ketchup

A VERSE TO SHARE

Yesterday I spent too much time on social media and that led me down a rabbit hole in which people of different races were calling each other names and it all got very nasty. In fact, it hurt my feelings so much that I am avoiding social media today because I don’t want another dose of that.

All of which makes me think of this verse from 1 Samuel. I hope you find something useful here too.

1 Samuel 16:7

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
